The Burnaby Steelers are pleased to announce the signing of 2008-born defender Sean Wickenden.
The native of Vancouver, BC, spent the past two seasons in the BCEHL with the Greater Vancouver Canadians U17 AAA.
He registered four goals and 13 assists for 17 points in 35 games last season.
“Sean has a lot of potential. He makes a good first pass and has a good size. We are excited to help him develop,” said Associate Coach Aldo Bruno.
The right-shot product says, “playing for an organization like the Steelers is a massive opportunity for me to develop.”
The Burnaby Steelers would like to extend a warm welcome to Sean and the Wickenden family.
The Steelers start the 2025-26 campaign in Ridge Meadows before their home opener on Sunday against Delta. Tickets are available at the gate and online.
