The Burnaby Steelers have acquired goaltender Remy Quino and forward Max Dorodnov from the North Vancouver Wolf Pack in exchange for player development fees.
Quintoro (Vancouver, BC) began his PJHL career during the 2023-24 season with the Delta Ice Hawks before being traded to the Wolf Pack the following year. Listed at 5’11” and 175 lbs. he had a record of 17-10 in 32 games played with the Wolf Pack during the regular season and posted a 3.82 goals against average, .902 save percentage, and one shutout. He also played one playoff game with the team.
Dorodnov (West Vancouver, BC) is fresh off his first season in the PJHL, which saw him score 12 goals and register 10 assists for 22 points in 47 regular season games—the 5’10” and 163 lbs. forward also suited up in two playoff games with the Wolf Pack.
“Making this trade with North Vancouver allows us to bring in two talented players who will make an immediate impact on our roster,” said Steelers Associate Coach Aldo Bruno. “Both players are in their final year of junior hockey and have experience in the league,” he added.
The Steelers start the 2025-26 campaign in Ridge Meadows before their home opener on Sunday against Delta. Tickets are available at the gate and online.
