The Burnaby Steelers would like to congratulate former Head Coach and longtime Vancouver Giants radio analyst Bill Wilms who has been recognized as the 2025-26 recipient of the WHL’s Bob Ridley Award for Media Excellence. Established in 2021, the WHL’s Bob Ridley Award for Media Excellence is presented annually to a distinguished member of the radio, television, and print journalism industry in recognition of their outstanding contributions to sports journalism and the WHL. Wilms coached the Steelers in 1972, 1973, and 1974. Congratulations, coach! #steeltownproud

The Burnaby Steelers are pleased to announce the dates for their identification camp, which will take place from May 1-3 at the Burnaby Winter Club. Camp will cost $250 for skaters and $300 for goalies and include: 3 games, dryland session, BBQ, exit interviews, practice jersey, and an all-star game if you are selected.
