The Burnaby Steelers are pleased to announce the signing of 2007-born forward Rowan Sandhu.
Sandhu is a right-shot skater who spent the last two seasons with Coquitlam HC U18 in the JPHL. He laced up in 30 games this past season where he racked up 12 goals and 4 assists for 16 points.
“Rowan is a young, big-body and versatile player. He will be a nice fit for our team,” said General Manager Bobby Buchan. “We are happy to have him on board,” he added.
Sandhu is expected to play a big role with the Steelers.
“I am extremely excited to get the opportunity to play for such a great organization like Burnaby and I look forward to joining my teammates, coaching staff, and contributing on and off the ice,” he said.
The Burnaby Steelers would like to extend a warm welcome to Rowan and the Sandhu family.
