3 players have aged out for the Chilliwack Jets from last year’s team: Kaelan Huibers (F), Jacob Lindhout (F), Easton Green (D).

 

GREEN – committed to Adrian College (ACHA) for the upcoming season. Green played a significant role on the Jets’ blueline and will be hard to replace.

 

HOW IT ENDED

The Chilliwack Jets outscored the Abbotsford Pilots 25-11 en route to a first round sweep that would advance them to the Harold Brittain Finals to play the Ridge Meadows Flames. Ridge Meadows won the first game 9-0 and didn’t look back as they gave the Jets a taste of their own medicine with a sweep.

GERAGHTY – The PJHL Goaltender of the Year for last season is committed to the University of Victoria for the upcoming season. Geraghty spent his entire PJHL career with the Steelers starting 96 games and registering 8 shutouts.

 

HOW IT ENDED

The last time the Steelers played a hockey game they were called the Grandview Steelers. The team went on a four-game win streak including a 5-4 win in Chilliwack to close out the season, but failed to qualify for the post-season missing the playoffs by one point.
