Burnaby, BC — The Burnaby Steelers are proud to announce their first-ever Alumni Golf Tournament, scheduled for August 28, 2026, at Westwood Plateau Golf Course as part of a new initiative to strengthen connections across generations of Steelers players and supporters.
The event, organized in partnership with the club’s recently established alumni association, will bring together former players, staff, sponsors, and community members for a day of golf, networking, and celebration of Steelers hockey.
The tournament represents a major step forward in expanding alumni engagement, following the club’s renewed focus on honoring its history and building lasting relationships within the organization.
Participants can expect a full day of activities, including tournament play, on-course contests, and a post-round social gathering. Proceeds from the event will support ongoing team initiatives and future alumni programming.
