The Burnaby Steelers announced today that Dave Wilkie has stepped down from his position as Assistant Coach and will continue with the organization as a Scout.
“Keeping Dave involved with our organization is important to us,” said Governor Aldo Bruno. “We sincerely thank him for his dedication and commitment as an assistant coach this past season. Dave has been a valued member of the Steelers family for many years, and we’re pleased he’ll continue contributing in a scouting capacity.”
A former Steelers standout, Wilkie led the team in scoring during its 1993–94 championship season.
His extensive hockey experience, knowledge of the game, and deep connection to the organization will continue to be valuable assets as the Steelers build for the future.
