The Burnaby Steelers announced today that Dave Boyce has been named a scout with the organization.
“We are thrilled to add Dave to our hockey operations team. He has already proven that he is capable of bringing players to the organization and I look forward to working with him even more,” said Steelers General Manager Craig Carter.
Boyce currently serves as Head Coach of the Port Moody Minor Hockey Association U18A1 team where he has guided several teams to provincial appearances.
He has also spent time as a coach with the Burnaby Winter Club (BWC) working with and leading their Pee Wee teams to four consecutive provincial championships.
Furthermore, Boyce also has experience coaching the Steelers with whom he played junior hockey for from 2006 to 2008.
His passion for the game, history with the Steelers and connections in the hockey world make him a valued asset to the organization.
