The Burnaby Steelers are pleased to announce that the club has signed 2007-born goaltender Sam Bastien.

 

The Burnaby native returns to the lower mainland from the MJHL where he dressed in 16 games with the Swan Valley Stampeders.

 

“Sam is a talented goaltender who brings athleticism, composure and a strong compete level to the crease. We believe he has a lot of upside, and we’re looking forward to seeing him continue to develop and make an impact for our hockey club,” said General Manager Craig Carter.

 

The Steelers would like to welcome Sam and the Bastien family back to Burnaby.
