The Burnaby Steelers are pleased to announce the signing of 2007-born goaltender Mitchell Pearce.
The native of Milton, Ontario, most recently suited up for the Boston Dogs of the NCDC recording a 3.39 goals against average, .923 save percentage, and one shutout.
Pearce started the 2025-26 campaign with the BCHL’s Coquitlam Express before joining the NCDC with the Thunder Hockey Club.
“Mitchell is a talented young goaltender with a strong work ethic and a competitive mindset. We believe he has the ability to make a real impact with our club, and we’re looking forward to helping him continue to develop both on and off the ice,” said Steelers General Manager Craig Carter.
The Burnaby Steelers would like to extend a warm welcome to Mitchell and the Pearce family.
The Steelers open the 2026-2027 season in Langley on Saturday, September 19. The team plays their home opener on Sunday, September 20.
